Our system will only accept JPEG (.jpg) formatted files. The minimum resolution should be 1024x768. This is typically obtainable with a 2 (or larger) megapixel camera. - What if I don't have a digital camera? Can I
mail you a picture?
We only accept pictures as email attachments. We cannot accept pictures via regular mail. You do not need to own a digital camera to make a Custom Cover, but you will need to put your photo into digital form. The easiest way to digitize a print or slide is to go to a photo store or a copy center (like Kinko's). Ask them to scan your print, slide or negative at a minimum of 600 pixels per inch (ppi) in .jpg format and RGB mode. The higher the ppi, the better your photo will reproduce. The quality of your cover will depend on the quality of the original digital photo submitted to us.
